Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is natural gas that has undergone a cooling process, reaching a liquid state at approximately -260°F, facilitating its transportation and storage.
LNG occupies approximately 600 times less volume in its liquid form than in its gaseous state within a natural gas pipeline.
