Safety-First Approach
- Rigorous Material Selection
The selection of materials for our gas cylinders is a critical step in ensuring long-term durability and safety. We meticulously evaluate each material—whether carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys, or fibers—based on its chemical, physical, and mechanical properties. When necessary, we also consider stress corrosion resistance to ascertain the material’s suitability for the specific environmental and operational conditions in which the cylinder will be employed. This comprehensive approach guarantees that our cylinders can withstand the most demanding conditions.
- Fracture Mechanics and Fatigue Life Assurance
We implement additional measures to ensure the long-term performance and safety of our gas cylinders by performing fracture mechanics analysis. This analysis helps us ascertain the maximum allowable defect size within the cylinder, enabling us to establish precise guidelines for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) during production. By defining these limits, we can
- Establish NDT thresholds to ensure that each cylinder meets stringent safety standards during manufacturing.
- Guarantee the fatigue life of the cylinder, meaning it will uphold its integrity over an extended period of use.
- Demonstrate that, in the rare event of a defect, the cylinder will leak safely rather than fail catastrophically, thereby preventing potential hazards.
- Robust Surface Protection
To ensure our gas cylinders maintain their performance in various environmental conditions, we incorporate surface protection that is tailored to the specific corrosive substances the cylinder may encounter. This protection plays a vital role in extending the lifespan of the cylinder and preserving its structural integrity under arduous conditions, whether in industrial, marine, or outdoor environments.
A Guide to the
Gas Cylinder
Manufacturing Process
As a leading exporter and manufacturer of gas cylinders, we prioritize quality, efficiency, and safety at every stage of production.
In our process, we check the steel pipes for leakage and tensile strength. We also seal the bottom, shape the neck, polish the inside, clean and paint them automatically, and put them through tough tests like permanent expansion, bursting, and hydraulic tests.

Inspection Services
Regular inspections are essential to maintain the safety and quality of cryogenic tanks and gas cylinders.
Non-Destructive Testing
In line with storage tank production standards, all welding seams undergo 100% RT (radiographic testing) and penetrant testing (PT) to ensure integrity.
Additionally, strength testing will be performed using high-purity nitrogen (99.999%).
Inner Surface Inspection
To ensure the cleanliness of storage tanks, especially for handling hazardous materials, the inner containers undergo a complete pickling process. After pickling, we use imported ultraviolet blacklight lamps to inspect the surface for any oil stains or organic contaminants.
Once cleaned, the inner and outer containers are assembled within 2.5 hours. During assembly, the inner containers and interlayers are filled with high-purity nitrogen to protect them from dust and impurities, maintaining cleanliness throughout the process.
To meet Sa-2.5 standards, both the inner and outer surfaces are sandblasted. Dust on the steel plate is carefully removed using a vacuum cleaner, ensuring a clean, metallic surface. This process guarantees that the interlayer maintains a high level of vacuum.
Leak Detection and Testing Procedures
We use advanced helium mass spectrometers to detect leaks with incredible precision—down to 2×10⁻⁹ Pa.L/s—ensuring complete containment.
Cylinders and tanks should always be stored upright, away from ignition sources, and in a well-ventilated area. They must be properly secured to prevent any risk of falling.
To confirm the tank’s pressure integrity, a water pressure test or ultrasonic examination is conducted using specialized equipment, such as a hydrostatic test or ultrasonic device.
Once manufacturing is complete, all internal cylinders undergo thorough gas-tightness and pressure performance testing to ensure reliability and safety.
Final Quality Assurance
Before being used in the interlayer, the high-quality perlite undergoes a specialized treatment process. Upon completion of production, all pipe openings are opened to carry out nitrogen purging and replacement, following oxygen usage standards.
Once purging is complete, all pipelines and valves are sealed, and the tanks are filled with high-purity nitrogen at 0.2MPa for protection, ensuring optimal safety and preservation throughout the storage and transport process.
