1. The design of DSW gas cylinder not only uses the specified calculation formula, but also uses the finite element analysis. Then, the calculated data are verified and validated by experiments using various techniques including strain gauge measurement.
2.After analysing chemical, physical, mechanical properties and, if necessary, stress corrosion resistance; all materials (carbon steel,stainless steel, alloy and fiber etc.) are
carefully selected according to the final using conditions.

 Gas Cylinders & Storage Tanks Inspection

Regular inspections are crucial to ensure the safety and quality of cryogenic tanks and gas cylinders.

Non-Destructive Inspection:
According to the requirements for storage tank production, all relevant welding seams are subjected to 100% RT (non-destructive) testing and penetrant tests (PT).
Strength testing will be conducted using high-purity nitrogen up to 99.999%.

Helium Test:
Helium mass spectrum leak detection will finally be conducted using advanced helium mass spectrometers (with precision as high as 2×10-9Pa.L/s).

Storage Check:
The cylinder or tanks should be placed upright, away from ignition sources, in a well-ventilated area. The tank should be secured so that it does not fall.

Pressure Test:
A water pressure test or an ultrasonic examination can confirm the tank’s ability to hold pressure. It is necessary to use specific testing equipment, such as a hydrostatic test or ultrasonic examination device.
After manufacture, all internal cylinders will undergo gas-tightness and pressure performance testing.

Inner Surface Inspection:
To meet the cleanliness requirements for dangerous goods, the inner containers of storage tanks will undergo an overall pickling.
The inner containers will be checked with imported ultraviolet black light lamps to ensure they are free of oil stains and other organic contaminants.
After cleaning, the inner and outer containers will be assembled in less than 2.5 hours.
After assembly, the interlayers and inner containers will be filled with nitrogen to protect them against dust and organic impurities and ensure cleanliness.
To meet the Sa-2.5 requirements, the inner and outer surfaces will be sandblasted.
A vacuum cleaner removes the dust from the surface of the steel plate when it shows a metallic colour. This will ensure that the interlayer has a high vacuum level.

Accessory Checkinng:
The high-quality perlite will be treated by our special process before being in the interlayer.
Once production is finished, all pipe openings will be opened to perform nitrogen purging and replacement per oxygen usage standards.
After this step, all pipelines and valves will be sealed, and tanks will be filled with 0.2MPa high-purity nitrogen for protection.
