LOX Liquid Oxygen Plant
A cryogenic oxygen plant is an industrial facility that produces high-purity oxygen by cooling and liquefying atmospheric air.
The plant uses cryogenic distillation technology to separate oxygen from other gases such as nitrogen and argon. Oxygen is distilled at its boiling point of -183 degrees Celsius.
Liquid oxygen plants are used in various industries such as chemical, petroleum, medical, pharmaceutical, food, steel and non-ferrous industries.
Technologies for Oxygen Production
Gasification processes typically use oxygen as the oxidant; less frequently air or steam may also suffice as gasification agents depending on the process.
Oxygen-blown systems offer the advantage of minimizing size in gasification reactors and associated process systems;
however, oxygen must first be separated from atmospheric air for use in processes.
Cryogenic distillation technology has long been in practice and commercial large-scale air separation plants are usually equipped to deliver highly pure oxygen under pressure (of up to 99.99% purity1).
Cryogenic air separation has proven its reliability with capacities up to 5,000 tons per day).
Liquid Oxygen (LOX) / Liquid Nitrogen (LIN)
These units are tailored for applications such as commercial requirements for LOX/LIN where there is no requirement to relocate them on an ongoing basis, such as ISO container transport.
Each of the four modules can be assembled on-site and connected using prefabricated piping spools that come with the unit to become fully operational within less than two days – available in two sizes with smaller units producing 2.0 tonnes per day while larger models produce 5 tonnes.
LOX Plant
A liquid oxygen plant (LOX) is an industrial system that taps air from the atmosphere which is then compressed in the air compressor. After being compressed, the air is put into a cleanup system where impurities such as carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons and moisture are removed. Then, the air is directed into a heat exchanger where it gets cooled to cryogenic temperatures. Here, the air is directed into the high-pressure distillation column where oxygen is formed at the top of the column and nitrogen is formed at the bottom. Liquid oxygen plant is fabricated & designed as per the standard designing principles. We manufacture liquid oxygen (LOX) as per internationally approved standards.
A cryogenic oxygen plant is an efficient industrial system for generating liquid oxygen (LOX), which is a cryogenic liquid. Our manufacturing and fabricating of LOX plants is done as per the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) standards. It is designed and fabricated with premium materials and components which can withstand the process temperatures and pressures. Cryogenic liquid is a liquefied gas that has a normal boiling point below –130°F (–90°C). LOX has a boiling point of –297°F (–183°C). We are preferred for offering the best cryogenic oxygen plant cost in the Industrial gas market in China.
